This 22 minute meditation is called a “Body Scan.” If you’re a high energy Enneagram type like a 3, 7, or 8, this may be hard for you at first.
6s sometimes feel anxiety when they slow down and Heart types might feel like this is a waste of time or feel anxious connecting to themselves. 1s might be concerned they’re not doing it right and 5s may feel overwhelmed by body sensations…or may feel no sensations at all.
All these reactions are normal. Just do what you can and build up with time.
Sometimes when we slow down and calm our bodies, emotions come up. This is normal as our bodies tend to “house” emotions.
Avoid sugar or caffeine before doing the body scan.
