Weekly Interspiritual Meditations
Quote: We don’t choose silence but fall silent. Silence, like love, is not something we reason our way into. And once we are in it, we recognize that it has been there all along.
— Philip Simmons in Learning to Fall
Feel free to join us for any part of the Monday weekly practice, coming and going as you need according to your schedule.
In our Time Together:
- Everyone enters muted. We recommend entering a few minutes early if you can. Once you enter, Pause.
- A brief poem/reading will be read to prepare us for the Silence on behalf of all beings and our planet. I will begin promptly on Wednesdays at 8:00 AM ET.
- 20 minutes of your chosen sitting in the Silence practice: Centering Prayer, mindfulness meditation, lovingkindness, vipassana
- We close with an optional brief check in and reading or body practice
Another quote:
In the sweet territory of silence we touch the mystery. It’s the place of reflection and contemplation, and it’s the place where we can connect with the deep knowing, to the deep wisdom way.
— Angeles Arrien
