Individual Group Services

Individual Group Services“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”  Brene Brown

How do you know if “Individual Work” is for you?

Change You’re in a time of change in your life: children leaving home, a career change, a loss of a community who sustained you, a transition you hadn’t expected, the end of a relationship, the loss of someone important to you, a feeling of dryness, a feeling you’re becoming all that you didn’t want to be, emptiness despite a full life…things like these are clues that it’s time to LISTEN TO YOUR LIFE.

Commitment: You’re willing to commit to a minimum of 4 sessions with Leslie. (We can have a conversation prior to your commitment in order to ensure I am a fit for you).

Courage: You’re ready to listen to your life. Everyone is different and walks a unique trail. Your uniqueness will be honored and respected. I am here to support you in “staying close to the way you are made.”

Spiritual Guidance

“Spiritual” means different things to different people. For me, it means being centered and grounded enough to:

All of these spiritual qualities have health benefits. Even more, they offer a much more satisfying way of living and being in relationship.

All of these are far easier said than done. This is where Spiritual guidance comes in. It is designed to intentionally create space for you to PAUSE and step into the more tender, subtle dimension of yourself which is discoverable when you have time for quiet and someone listens to you reflectively.

More about Spiritual Guidance

“Beginning in infancy (or even before) each of us, in response to perceived threats to our well-being, develops a false self: a set of protective behaviors driven at root by a sense of need and lack. The essence of the false self is driven, addictive energy, consisting of tremendous emotional investment in compensatory “emotional programs for happiness,” as Keating calls them.”
